Paprika 2022

Decolonising the body, and the mind that dresses it. Paprika is a reclamation: of saffron, the colour, taken back from nationalism and returned to its older meaning, courage; of dress as a private act, not a performance staged for anyone else; of the right to make pleasure from what was discarded, offcut, leftover, unwanted.

The palette runs warm and unapologetic, the cut close to the body it is decolonising.
