A collection made in the year democracy felt thinnest, when watching closely stopped being optional. To critique is to demand change, and to demand change is to evolve, however slowly. The pieces sit quiet on the surface, considered and controlled, but sharp underneath, built from cloth and cut that do not soften what the collection is actually saying.
